In addition to skill training and career development, we also provide ways for our employees to give back to the community. Working alongside our parent company, SDLC Partners, we have created a volunteer committee, SDLC Connects, as well as a Wellness Program to help employees improve their lifestyles. These programs not only provide benefits for the individual and community at large, but also provide opportunity for employees to network and have fun outside of the office.
Although executing successfully and delivering quality solutions for our clients are the top priorities, we are committed to serving our local community. Working hand-in-hand with our parent company, SDLC Partners, employees have access to SDLC Connects, an employee-led volunteer committee that helps guide community engagement and philanthropic opportunities throughout the year. The mission is to give back to the region through various acts of service. Through this committee, we ran, walked, volunteered, and fundraised for local and national charitable organizations. Not only does SDLC Connects provide opportunity for our company and employees to give back, but it also provides a fun atmosphere to connect with colleagues across the organization.
We initiated the Wellness Program as a means to support healthy lifestyles. This program was designed to motivate employees to create positive change. Through our Wellness Program, we provide educational classes, an annual health fair, weekly wellness information, and a lunchtime walking club that runs from April through October. We also host a 10,000 steps a day challenge to encourage our employees to stay active. The objective is to create a healthier and more productive workforce!
